With Halloween just around the corner, people are already making plans about what to do during the scariest holiday of the year. So, here’s an idea: Go to Niagara Falls! There are so many things to do in Niagara Falls, they don’t call in Canada’s Vegas for no reason. But during Halloween, it’s really amazing with all the activities they have planned. So, here’s a list of where to stay, eat and of course, what to do!

Where to Stay?

Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls

This hotel offers you so many services and amazing location for such a small price! The rooms are great and also offer you the option of having a view of the falls. Aside from the many restaurants and coffee shops that you can find inside the hotel, you also have direct access to the Fallsview Casino and a shopping mall. At the lobby level, there’s the Niagara Falls Fun Zone which has arcade games and a glow in the dark mini golf. Honestly, Four Point Sheraton is, in my opinion, the best hotel quality price wise because you definitely get more for your money.

Address: 6455 Fallsview Boulevard, Niagara Falls, ON

Where to book: Booking.com (they have great deals for that hotel)

Where to Eat?

Skylon Tower

The Skylon Tower is definitely a place that you want to try out while you’re in Niagara Falls. It’s something that you will not regret I guarantee it! It’s a bit expensive because they do have a fixed price for their menu, but honestly, the view is breathtaking and one of the best. It rotates while you eat so you can have a view of all the angles and has a balcony that you can go on before or after you eat so you can have an even better experience.

The Keg

Also expensive, but another amazing view of the falls. Make sure to go at night and reserve a table next to the window (reserve early because it tends to get full really fast) so you can see the light show of the falls. You’ll be so captivated that you won’t be able to stop starring outside. And of course, the food is always amazing for anywhere who loves to eat meat.

What to do?

Nightmares Fear Factory

If you’re someone who loves to get scared, then Nightmares Fear Factory is for you! They have a lot of similar concepts in Niagara Falls, but Fear Factory is, in my opinion, the scariest of them all. It lasts about 15 minutes, but it’s a full 15 minutes of adrenaline and fear. Honestly, one of the scariest moments of my life but I will never regret it because also probably the most fun I’ve had in my life (if that makes any sense?).

Louis Tussaud’s Waxwork: Ripley’s Believe it or Not

The wax figurines are absolutely amazing. I’ve done a lot of wax museums and this definitely one of the best ones. Make sure to check out the Halloween section if you want to get a little scared! What I love about this one is that they let you take as many pictures as you want and you can get as close and personal as you want with the figurines (without touching them off course).

***Little tip: If you want to do more then one activity, then I suggest buying a combo pack of Ripley’s Believe it Or Not which will save you money. We bought the Combo 4 which gave us tickets to the Fear Factory, Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks and 2 other activities. You can find out more information on their website www.ripleys.com/niagarafalls
