And now they have succeeded? Absolutely. Jenner’s post received 18m likes, but The Egg is now at 26m and counting. its support is mushrooming as viral awareness kicks in. An Instagram account by “EGG GANG” is behind the movement. The account was opened Jan. 4 with a mission to become the most-liked post on Instagram.
The Instagram page world_record_egg urges participants on. “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram.” It name checks Jenner and says, “We got this” and users the hashtags #LikeTheEgg #EggSoldiers and #EggGang.
While she’ll be disappointed at the Instagram loss, Jenner likely won’t be that distraught. She has an estimated $800 million beauty empire, led by her popular Lip Kits, making her the cash king of the Kardashians.
But she’ll apparently have to scramble to beat the egg.
