We’re finally in December! So it’s that time of the year where everywhere you go, there’s Christmas. Saturday was December 1st, but it was also the start of Christmas in the Park. The Christmas even where every year in the month of December, Montreal has a Christmas in the Park event which lasts all the way until Christmas. A fun-filled place where the magic of Christmas will surround you. So here’s everything you need to know about Christmas in the Park.

When is it happening?

Christmas in the Park will be happening from December 1st to December 25th, 2018.

Place Emile-Gamelin

Corner of Berri and St-Catherine Streets in Downtown Montreal (Quartier des Spectacles)

How much does it cost?

It’s completely FREE!

 What activities will there be?

  • Live Music
  • Poetry Reading
  • Bonfires
  • Purchase of Christmas Trees
  • Fun filled activities for adults and kids!

Is there parking on site?

Since the event is taking place in downtown Montreal at Quartier des Spectacles, there is actually no parking on site. However, you can find parking in the streets or paid parking in the area. You’re the best bet, however, will be to take the metro so you won’t have to worry about the hassle of finding parking in downtown Montreal.

Will there be food on site?

There will be a few vendors that will be selling snacks and drinks. However, if you want to get actual food for supper and so forth, there won’t be any in the park. But you are downtown so you easily find restaurants nearby within walking distance.

What metro is close by?

The best metro that will bring you right in the heart of Quartier des Spectacles is Berri-UQAM
