It doesn’t require you to have tons of experience and it’s great for all ages! There’s nothing like going downhill on a big old tire to make you fall in love with winter! Parc Jean-Drapeau

Parc Jean-Drapeau has some of the best hills to go snow tubing. Especially during the Fête des Neiges festival that runs on weekends from mid-January to mid-February. Big or small, they have you covered! Make sure to check out their website for info about pricing and schedule.


Les Super Glissades St-Jean-de-Matha

This place is the king of snow tubing. They bring a new definition to the saying “Go Big or Go Home”. They are definitely going BIG. With so many great options when it comes to different hills and off course their different donuts to slide on, you will feel like a kid all over again! Make sure to dress warmly and bring your snow goggles, since it does tend to get really windy on the mountain. Also, at the speed you’ll be going down, you want to make sure to cover your eyes otherwise you’re sure to get snow in them. But don’t worry if you forget them. You can buy some on site at their store. They also have a few great spots where you can sit and drink hot coco if you want to warm up.


Parc du Mont-Royal

One of the most popular and well-known parks is one of the only parks in Montreal that rents snow tubes during winter. You can rent snow tubes and go down the hills of Mont-Royal from mid-December all the way until March.


Centre de la Nature – Laval

Centre de la Nature in Laval is not only open during the summer! They also have great activities planned during winter times. And off course, that includes snow tubing. You can rent snow tubes for up to 90 minutes and have your pick of 5 slopes made just for you! Make sure to check out their website for schedule and rates.


Mont Avila – Les Sommets

Located in Saint-Sauveur, Mont-Avila is one of the best snow tubing destinations up north. They offer everything from skiing to snowboarding to snow tubing. Definitely a popular destination for Montrealers, it’s worth the check out this winter.
