LOV Restaurant
Location: 464 McGill Street

Why? The décor for one! It has one of the cutest settings ever with swings, light fixtures you won’t be able to stop staring at and the list goes on! Their menu is 100% vegan, but you won’t even be able to tell because everything is delicious!
My Top Three: Kale Mac’n’cheese, Grilled Cheese Camrose Gnocchi Di Casa.
Tommy Café
Location: 151 Saint-Paul Street West

Why? This place will have you thinking you’re having lunch at a Parisian Café. It’s absolutely gorgeous and you’ll be thinking the food was made by a French Chef who graduated from Cordon Bleu.
My Top Three: Cordon Bleu, Sexy Salad, Grilled Cheese.
Venice Montreal

Why? Another gorgeous setting in the heart of Old Montreal. It has a very California Beach Vibe. Their menu, of course, is inspired by California so everything is fresh and full of flavor! They are famous for their Poké Bowls, so definitely try them out!
My Top Three: Salmon Poké Bowl, Coreen Beef Tacos, Margarita Pizza.
SSense Café
Location: 418 St Sulpice Street

Why? Very minimalist decor, Ssense has made a name for itself with its unique style. Limited option on food, but tastes really good which is not something you would expect by walking into there. Just make sure you don’t miss the entrance as I did!
My Top Three: Croque Monsieur, Green Smoothie, Cheesecake.
Escondite
Location: 1206 Union Ave.

Why? The best place for a 5@7 or drink with the girls (or guys). Great authentic Mexican food, good drink menu and the service is amazing! The staff will have you laughing and making it one of your regular places for a fun night out!
My Top Three: Pollos Hermanos, Corn Esquite, La Tinga.
BOHO

Why? Great place if you want to have cocktails with the girls! Retro chic décor and great cocktail menu, what other reason do you need to go there? And yes, they do also serve food! Their food menu has something that will make everyone happy!
My Top Three: Salmon Poke Bowl, Spicy Fish Taco, Malibu Salad.
Tapas 24
Location: 4, 420 Notre-Dame St

Why? Authentic Spanish Tapas. Everything on the menu is good and it’s a great place to go with a group of friends or co-workers so you can try a little bit of everything. Definitely one of my favorite tapas restaurants.

HA Restaurant
Location: 600 William Street

Why? If you’re a fan of Asian food, then definitely add HA to your list of restaurants to check out. Their food is authentic Asian and really good. Everything tastes fresh and their menu is full of rich Asian flavor!
My Top Three: Mr. Ha’s Beef Pho Soup, Mr. Ha’s Classic Coco Tom Yum Salmon with Rice, Lemongrass Grilled Chicken.
Suite 701
Location: 701 Place d’Armes

Why? Probably Montreal’s “it” place when it comes to 5@7. In the heart of Old Montreal with a rooftop terrace, definitely one of the popular spots to hang out with coworkers.
My Top Three: Fish & Chips, Salmon Tartare, Burger 701
Jiao Dim Sum Bar
Location: 399 Notre-Dame Street

Why? This place just opened recently and has been a HUGE success. Another tapas restaurant, but their tapas menu will have you going back for seconds and thirds!
